§ 11-2-2. Exceptions.

Section 11-2-1 shall not apply to the following properties; provided, however, the Greenwood County Council strongly encourages persons to refrain from smoking in or on those properties:

(1)

Any road or highway owned by Greenwood County.

(2)

The bed or waters of Lake Greenwood.

(3)

Any manufacturing facility which is titled in the name of Greenwood County as part of an economic development arrangement in which title will be reconveyed to the manufacturer upon compliance with the terms of the documents and statutes creating the arrangement.

(4)

Such other places as the county council may designate by resolution adopted pursuant to this chapter.
